Yoga at roots wellness
Yoga is an ancient tradition of living and moving principles set out in a number of sacred texts. Yoga covers many forms outside of the Asanas (movements in yoga classes). Asanas in yoga are a series of postures to physical and mental wellbeing.
At Roots Wellness we focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Inside Flow.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow is a series of postures/asanas that move through sequences in a fluid way.
Yin Yoga is holding asanas for a period of time to get deeper into the fascia and deep connective tissue, this can increase flexibility and help to restore and strengthen the body.
Inside Flow Yoga focuses on connecting breath, movement and music together to bring a new edge to yoga.
All of our yoga classes bring elements of meditation, mindfulness and breathwork into the class to broaden and deepen the yoga experience.
No yoga class is the same and we pride ourselves on our creative sequencing suitable for all levels of yoga experience. From a beginners, to gentle flow, to Power Flows, we have a yoga class for everyone!
